Volunteer Spotlight

Chopra Family

Raj and his daughters Nina (12) and Nikki (10) first got involved with The Honeycomb Project a few years back because they wanted to help families and give back.

The Chopra family loves coming to Honeycomb events because the various projects give them a purpose to help make a difference in the community. They particularly enjoy helping families and others in need. Their favorite Honeycomb events have included sorting children’s clothing at Share Our Spare and packing food at the Greater Chicago Food Depository because they love being able to help other families in any way they can.

Since volunteering with Honeycomb, both Nina and Nikki are more grateful for what they have and they learned to be less wasteful. When the Chopra family is not engaging in volunteer projects with Honeycomb, they enjoy traveling and reading together as a family. The girls also participate in many sports including dancing, swimming and running. We’re so lucky to have such dedicated members like the Chopra family as part of our Honeycomb community!
