Welcome to The Honeycomb Project
The Honeycomb Project is a nonprofit organization in Chicago that creates and manages meaningful family volunteer projects for parents to enjoy with their kids.
Our fun, safe and well-organized events make it easy for you to get out of the house and into the community. We partner with a variety of local organizations to create the very best family-friendly volunteer projects. We plan the logistics and buy supplies. We even connect you with talking points and educational resources to make the most of your experience. You can rest assured that our projects are safe, educational and fun for the whole family.
Our innovative volunteer projects make a big impact on our community and a big impression on your family. Kids of all ages learn about local issues like river health, homelessness and literacy and you get to spend quality time with your kids while making our city better.
