Shopping for Gifts
You will select a specific child’s wish list here. Plan to spend $40-$50 on each NEW gift donation (so that everyone receives gifts of similar value!). Whether you sign up to fulfill one wish list or many, your participation matters!
This project is designed for your whole family to participate in together! Ask your children to help select a NEW toy(s) and gifts for children served by UCAN. Please ensure that gifts represent a diverse races and ethnicities so that all recipients feel represented and seen by the gifts they receive. If you are unable to find the exact gift, plan to purchase a comparable gift of similar value.
Please bring your UNWRAPPED gift donations to UCAN on the date/time specified above. To ensure your gift goes to the correct recipient, please tape a copy of your filled out Wish List Form to your gift.
Make your gifts personal! Feel free to include handmade holiday cards with your your donations. Remember that families may celebrate different holidays than you! Try to focus your messaging on holiday cheer and warm winter wishes rather than a specific holiday.
All gift recipients are currently enrolled in UCAN programs such as foster care, Counseling and Youth Development Services, Violence Intervention and Prevention Services, and various residential programs. UCAN's primary focus is supporting youth who are 14-24 years old.
